Last night I pushed a new build of my app project, made a shitty video to show some of my friends and then decided to post it here. I made dinner, went to bed, and woke up to a hell of a lot more attention than I expected!

A huge thank you to all the kind things people have had to say, it’s really made a shitty year a lot better. I saw that a lot of people had questions, so I’ll do my best to answer them.

A lot of people complimented my attention to detail, which really made all the hard work worth it. I’ve spent so long rewatching and pausing episodes to find good reference images, and I’ve got enough to make a fairly close replica. I’m not entirely happy with it yet, but it can only improve :)

(There’s a lot of images that show more than just the screen, I wonder why that is?)

I currently have no plans to develop the app for platforms other than Windows 10, and I’m sorry if that disappoints you. However, I’m building solely on Windows 10 for a very good reason which I think will make up for it when I start the next phase of the project :)

My next step for the UI side is to add in a few details I noticed in my most recent rewatching, and clean up some animations/transitions. Maybe tweak some colours here and there too if need be, and then it should be more or less done aside from sound effects which I’m still working on!

Once again, thank you so much to all of you for taking the time to watch my video, I’ll probably try and do another one to show it off a little better! I have big plans for the future, watch this space!
